1. Eligibility for Returns
You may return most items purchased from tmttoolbox.com within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided the item meets the following conditions:
- Unused and in Original Condition: The item must be unopened, unused, and in the same condition as received, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories.
- Proof of Purchase: A valid order number or receipt is required.
- Non-Excluded Items: Some items, such as personalized products, perishable goods, or gift cards, are non-returnable unless defective. See Section 4 for details.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To return an item, follow these steps:
- Contact Us: Email us at customerservice@tmttoolbox.com or call (865)-724-2516 within 30 days of delivery to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Pack the Item: Securely package the item in its original packaging, including all accessories and documentation. Include the RMA number on the package.
- Ship the Item: Send the package to the return address provided using a trackable shipping method. We recommend retaining proof of shipment.
Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or we shipped the wrong product.
3. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email about the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved:
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.
- The refund will include the item’s purchase price, minus any original shipping fees (unless the return is due to our error).
- Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded unless defective:
- Personalized or custom-made products
- Gift cards
- Opened PPE or sanitary goods (e.g., disposable gloves, chemicals, ointments)
- Hazardous materials or flammable items
- Digital downloads or software (unless unopened)
5. Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will:
- Provide a prepaid return shipping label.
- Offer a full refund or replacement, including all shipping costs, at your choice.
- For defective items, we may request photos or additional details to process your claim.
6. Exchanges
If you’d like to exchange an item for a different size, color, or variant (subject to availability):
- Follow the standard return process and indicate your preference for an exchange.
- We’ll ship the replacement item once we receive and inspect the original item.
- Customers are responsible for exchange shipping costs unless the exchange is due to our error.
7. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven’t received your refund within the expected timeframe:
- Check your bank or payment provider for pending transactions.
- Contact us at customerservice@tmttoolbox.com, and we’ll investigate promptly.
8. International Returns
For international orders, the same 30-day return policy applies. However:
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs duties or taxes.
- Refunds will exclude original shipping fees and any non-recoverable import fees.
- Please ensure compliance with local customs regulations when returning items.
